Qualities of an Innovation Ambassador :
- Value the knowlege / value-added sectors of the economy
- Available and able to commit
- Support from their organization to participate
- Have a passion for innovation and/or helping people
- Pertinent skill
- Creative (albe to "think outside the box")
- Communicators
- Regional connections
- Know how to build relationships
What you can expect from an Innovation Ambassador:
- Makes onself known to the community
- Responsive: returns calls quickly; pass "client" onto someone else quickly if / when unable or unwilling to help
- Recognizes that the inventor / innovator has the "right" to "get away"
- Avoids conflict of interest situations
- Does not interfere with the inventor's / innovator's plans
